League #4 Results and Report

4TH SECOND SKIN/ERRANT SURF TRAVEL LEAGUE CONTEST.
SAUNTON SUN 11TH OCT.

A totally different day from Saturday, cloudy with fine rain and the surf was 3ft and choppy.

Twenty four Hotdoggers turned out on a cold morning and cracked on with the last league event for 2009 which is sponsored by SECOND SKIN and ERRANT SURF TRAVEL a big thanks to Andy Schollick and Chris Thomson.

I would also like to thank CHRISTIES ESTATES and Paul and Lucy from Saunton beach car park for allowing us to use the beach.

Mike Stevens cooked up fifty hotdogs in the back of his van which went down really well with everyone and it has been decided to do it at all of the contests next year..... Looking forward to that! Yummmmmmmm!

Juniors Zak and Oscar must have been on a mission this weekend as they finished in exactly the same apots as the day before, meanwhile in the open... Greg Robinson blew out in the semi final. Probably the beers eh mate! Too much makes for sore head.....

Well done Greg Norman and Chris Brunt for making the open finals and big congratulations also to two masters who made their first final, Andre Green and Chris Dyer. Also making a grand appearance in his first final was Will Martin, about time! It’s been a long time coming boys and it goes to prove that EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY.
